Gary & John battle it out with the Footy stars!

As regular visitors to Paloma Beach will already know, Gary & myself like to partake in 7 aside football 2 or 3 times a week to try and work off the beer guts....Our team is called Taylors Lounge, which coincidentally is our favorite local bar, located just around the corner at El Mirador (see our map for directions).

The team is made up of myself, my brother Dave, Jay the chef from Shambles Bar (great food & entertainment there btw), Steve the PC repair dude, perma-injured Darryl, Gavin from Desperate Dans bar, Gary and other footballing has beens!!!

We do well in the local 7's leagues and have won a few trophies in our time which keeps the sponsors happy (thanks Paul & Lynn Taylor), and last year we took part in the Soccer Experience Masters tournament playing against local teams and ex-pro's such as Leicester City (Ally Mauchlin, Muzzy Izzet, Gerry Taggart etc), Celtic (Darren Jackson, Tommy Boyd, Jim Duffy) - we won the 2nd tier tournament somehow, God knows how.

This year we're at it again over the weekend of 14,15,16th of November, this time battling it out against former Leeds United legends Rod Wallace & Brian Deane, Leicester & Celtic plus former Wimbledon legends and Bruce Grobelaar!!!!!!!!!
